From fun and flirty to sexy and sassy, I love Ouma. When I was planning my wedding, I came across Ouma for bridesmaid dresses. They ended up being a little out of the price range but I still check in from time to time to see the beautiful and fun designs. If I ever renew my vows, I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing something like the below.
Monique is really easy to work with and will stretch a little (not a lot) from what you see on her site or her etsy shop. If you're not already in love, I'll leave you with one more beautiful design...
And with that, Goodnight my darlings...

Craft Fair
This weekend I went to a craft fair with my lovely sister-in-law (who will be featured on my blog later!) and we stumbled on a lot of great little finds. My favorite find...
It's made by Lilia Corona and her line is called Mon Bijouels. My little ring was only $10!!! I'm so excited to share some of the other great finds from the weekend :) MORE TO COME

Little Obsession
No way to get around it, I LOVE cooking and anything to do with cooking: cooking supplies, cookbooks and even pictures of kitchens. Currently, I'm not able to chef as much as I want so I find myself drooling over cookbooks. My new serious want...
My Fathers Daughter
While I refuse to recognize her career in music, I do love Gwyneth Paltro as an actress and her new cookbook looks SO amazing. It's also been getting some pretty good reviews.

Wedding Hair
This, I'm sure, will be the first of many blogs about Mrs. Sarah Birchfield. She is, hands down, the very definition of a Renascence Woman. Almost everyday I get a "Sarah Fact" that inevitably makes my life a little better. My uber talented friend is such an amazing support and I love her dearly. Ok, enough of that and on to the reason I'm posting. Miss Sarah is putting together a portfolio for hair and makeup; I would love to share the wedding she did last weekend (just hair).

The Sweet and Fabulous Elodee
I love, love, love Elodee; The brainchild of the lovely Allie Peters. Elodee is a sassy accessory line that can accommodate any need: weddings, parties, or a little casual flair.
I'm so proud of my friend Allie.
Find unique hand made pieces that juxtapose everything from feathers and netting to fabrics and vintage buttons. The best part--aside from the price--is that if you don't see the exact something you want, just email her and she'll create the perfect custom order.
Seriously, check out Elodee on Facebook and Etsy

I wish they were my friends...
But they're not. If you don't already know them, you should get to know this band...

The Head and the Heart
My Favorite Person in the Whole Wolrd
My Hubby....The Urban Cowboy
I couldn't be more proud of my man. Some people think it's crazy that anyone would willingly hurl themselves over a 5 foot gap, 2 stories above ground but that's a stress reliever for Ryan. While I spend my time in savasana, he's typically throwing himself at inanimate objects. To each their own.
Ryan is the first official "talented" post because
1) he's my favorite person
2) skateboarding is not a very typical talent
3) he just looks so good doing it (I know, I'm bias but he does)
The typical failed realizations about skateboarding:
1) Much like other sports, you can have a favorite "player." Once you have a favorite, there is more character development in each individual skater than Kobe Bryant, Terrell Owens, and Barry Bonds combined. Mostly because these characters are allowed to form themselves and the media doesn't have such a strong impact on their portrayal.
2) One can have a favorite "team." Just as being a Raiders fan says a lot about a person so too does your choice in a skateboarding team.
3) Skateboarding too has shows for the viewer much like sports center (Wednesdays with Reda) and bryant gumbel (Mikey Days).
Hands down, a 30 minute skate video will always be more entertaining to me than a 30 yard whatever to "win the game."

Oh! The People you'll see...
When I graduated college, one of my really good friends gave me a card with some quotes pulled from the Dr. Seuss book "Oh the Places You'll Go!" Since then, just as the good Dr. said, I've been to some pretty amazing places but more importantly I've met some even more AMAZING people. I feel so blessed to know these people and I want nothing more but to share their wonderful talents with whoever decides to follow my silly little musings. And, as the title of the blog suggests, there will undoubtedly be some other oddities along the way…
I am completely new at this so please forgive any novice mistakes and feel free to comment.
